LinkedIn Training

You need to be using LinkedIn if you are at all serious about your career or starting your career.

LinkedIn is the leading professional network on the web, enabling you to:
·      Connect with classmates, faculty, and family professionally
·      Find new opportunities for internships and full time positions
·      Manage what potential employers learn about you from the Internet
·      Follow companies to learn more about them

I recommend LinkedIn’s Learning Center ( because it really is very helpful. If you have never used LinkedIn or are wondering if you are tapping into its full potential -- check out the resources LinkedIn provides its users. Through the Learning Center and watch quick videos on the following topics.

They also regularly offer training through free Webinars ( you can learn more about the features and functionality that LinkedIn offers. Right now “LinkedIn 101: The basics of LinkedIn: Your Profile, Joining Groups, Settings, Search and more” and “LinkedIn Pro: Get the Most Out of Your Premium Account” are scheduled. But check to see when new classes are added.
